Grilled Sesame Tuna

Serves: 2     Prep Time: 10 minutes     Total Time: 16 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 11 ounces tuna, yellowfin
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds

 

Preparation

  1. Preheat grill on high.
  2. Mix sesame oil with soy sauce, lime juice, honey, ginger, garlic powder and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Brush tuna with marinade; press into sesame seeds.
  4. Grill tuna 2 to 3 minutes each side until outside of tuna is browned and inside is rare.
